Diarios de motocicleta/ The Motorcycle Daries

I heard of this movie before, but I hadn't seen this film until my assignments of essay writing. This film describes the early life of Che Guevara,a famous revolutionist in Latin America.

The theme depicts a journey before he was engaged in revolution, which had a great impact on his view toward the life and become his originality of his idea to have revolution for people in Latin America. We can see in the beginning of the film: Che wanted to achieve a great goals with his innocent enthusiasm. However, he suffered several obstacles, like motorcycle breaking, unkind people, terrible weather, etc. He visited Machu Picchu to think about theie ancient civilization. Che stopped by a village of Leprosy and had sincere communication with the patients there. This movie is not only about the travel, but also an inspiration to encourage the youth to go outside and broadern their horizon. Che was born in a small happy family, he left the medical school to adventure with his closed friend Alberto Granado. If he chose to finish his diploma first, he might become restricted to the real life, and he would become a popular doctor on his hometown instead of a historical revolutionist. This movie encourages the youth to see more things. Even though the equipments is very old and insufficient, the main point is the passion to overcome every obstacles to deal with every unpredictable accident along the road. Looking the personality of Che, we can see that he has great enthusiasm, courage and perseverance. When he lived in the village of Leprosy, he swam across the river to the patients, this behavior can represent that he is willing to overcome any obstacles, and he certainly achieved revolutionary stories in his later life.

He was a nature rebeller to illness, bad weather and unsuitable principles, and we can see him involving serious problem. Of course, now in our country, we don't need to have revolution against the ruling authority because our laws have become sufficient and efficient enough to help us express our own opinions. However, although we can sastify our material life, the opress between hierarchy, disappearance of traditional culture and the carelessness of the social walfare. Many entrepreneurs may deliver touchful sppeches or publish their own opinions on the mass media, but there is few people like Che to get into the life of people in need. In the village of Leprosy, medical servants have to wear mittens, which may protect themselves but isolate from patients. Che refused to wear them and lived together with patients, which made them win the respect of the patients.

Now I am the member of Aborigional Service Club, we will go to aborigional tribes to do some a series of services and activities. From the past to now, I have seen many advertisements and programs saying that children in the mountains have little resources and need our help. However, at that time, like most people, I felt pity for them and donated a little money. Until now, I have known that only when I involve in their real life and lead the same life with them can I become a friend with them.

By arranging a large activitiy, this is the first time to design a large activity. I found it' s difficult to arrange every details pertty well. I also learned that if we want to take cart of others, we can't only have a kind heart, and we have to learn many kind of skills to help others.

In DFLL, I've seen that many classmates want to study abroad or take holiday working in other countries. Going to other developed countries can explore our view of gloalization but may not inspire our sympathetic emotion in our heart. I think I can also also learn something important in the aborigional tribes. The former will tell us how others live happily, while the later will tell us how we live happily.
